Home Energy Audits
A building performance analysis or energy audit for short is the first step to assess how much energy your home, business, or building consumes. The collected data is analyzed by our skilled staff to find areas to increase energy efficiency. We perform a multitude of tests which may include blower door depressurization, thermal imaging, and an inspection of the mechanical systems. If the goal of the analysis is to establish a rating for the building, such as a HERS or Energy Star rating, computer modeling of the structure is used in order to view virtual upgrades. The energy assessment also includes computing return on investment calculations, through this computer modeling. In addition, these tests will help home buyers build an ENERGY STAR qualified new home.
