What is it?

 

It is a collaborative statewide effort comprised of many groups working together in partnership to improve the comfort, safety, and energy use of homes in Illinois.

Illinois is proud to be putting the final touches on a new statewide Home Performance with ENERGY STAR program.  Illinois Home Performance (IHP)’s key objectives are to improve the comfort, safety, and energy efficiency of Illinois homes and to support businesses that perform these upgrades.

As a cooperative statewide effort, IHP was designed to offer advantages to  homeowners:
